I'm growing to love Painter...the background could've been better, but I wasn't using layers and I did things out of order- but I'm pleased with it overall. It's shiny. And vaguely slimy, which was part of the point.
Note: your first reaction to this should *not* be "Oh, how *cute*!!!!" *coughcoughMollycoughcough* I don't care what your reaction actually is, but it's not supposed to be cute, damnit. >_<  Anywhoo. Took far too much time, primarily done with the tint tool in Painter Classic. w00t. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 21h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
